It's so gorgeous of a day, even those of you not hailing from Queens may be enticed to make the trip east for the opening of the classic Astoria outdoor hangout, the Bohemian Beer Garden.
Whyleaveastoria.com celebrates their first birthday today along with Rizzo's Pizza (their 50th). In honor of the occasion, they will be slinging back free beers (three kegs worth) and giving away all the free pizza you can eat at Astoria's awesome Bohemian Hall & Beer Garden. More info here.

Sunday
BIKE RIDE & ART
The Queens Museum of Art wraps up its big Queens International biennial Sunday, which "addresses the relationship between 'internationalism' and 'multiculturalism' from a local standpoint." Judging by the work displayed on the museum's website, it looks quite compelling, but for some of us, the thought taking the subway to Flushing-Meadows on a beautiful Sunday is a deal breaker. Here's City Reliquary to the rescue: they're leading "a fun, free, and leisurely bicycle ride" from their Williamsburg museum to the one in Queens. The 6.5 mile Museum2Museum ride will roll from the City Reliquary through Billyburg, Long Island City, Elmhurst, Corona, and finally the promised land of Flushing-Meadows Corona Park.
Time: Sunday 2 p.m.
Location: The City Reliquary [370 Metropolitan Ave]
Cost: Free, but QMA has a suggested donation of $5
